Hip Facts You Might Not Know

Guardians of Balance: Beyond mere movement, strong and healthy hips serve as guardians, safeguarding your lower back and knees. Weak or compromised hips can shift undue stress to these areas, increasing the risk of injury.

Stress Storage: Our hips can become vaults for stored tension, particularly within the pelvic floor. This can lead to a cascade of stiffness and disconnection from our core muscles.

Emotional Barometers: Ever felt “tight-hipped” during stressful times? It’s not just in your head. The body’s “fight or flight” response to stress or anxiety can manifest physically, often as tightened hips and even increased jaw tension.
